Sherando High School Band

The Sherando Band is one of the largest and most succesful organizations at Sherando High School. It has been named a "Virginia Honor Band" by the Virginia Band and Orchestra Direstor's Association for 12 consectutive years, every year since the school's opening in 1992. The Sherando Band is also part of the "Blue Ribbon" award winning Sherando High School Music Program as named by the Virginia Music Educator's Association. The Sherando Band Program has recieved consistent "Superior" ratings and numerous awards at festivals across the Eastern United States in its 12 year history.
