Mr. Dempsey is a 1999 Graduate of James Madison University earning a Bachelor's of Music in Music Education. While
at JMU he performed (trombone) with numerous ensembles such as the Wind Sympony, Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Brass
Ensemble, and the Marching Royal Dukes. Upon graduation, Mr. Dempsey taught band at Rockbridge Middle School in Fairfield,
VA. After 2 years he became the Director of Bands at Rockbridge County High School in Lexington, VA where the band earned
numerous awards an honors. In 2004, Mr. Dempsey returned to his home town of Winchester, VA to become the Director of Bands
at Sherando High School. During his first year at Sherando, the band has recieved consistent "Superior" ratings
and awards and has also been named a "Virginia Honor Band" for the 2004-2005 school year. To contact Mr. Dempsey call the
